Monitoring railway tracks and identifying surface defects are key to safe railway operations.
Monitoring railway tracks and identifying surface defects are key to safe railway operations.
System shall be capable for measurement of vertical and lateral acceleration at axle box level and on pivot at coach floor level in time domain.
System shall be capable of recording track features and their location along with acceleration values using previously prepared route feature location file (wherever available) and TIMS’s navigation system in data files and marking of same in graphical and digital exception reports.
System shall have the capability for on line reporting of acceleration peaks above predefined threshold value with location to nominated P. Way official of the concerned section through GPRS based cellular communication network. Facility to change the limits shall also be available.
System shall be capable to identify, store and print image and description of the defects in both left and right Rail, Fastenings, and Sleepers.
System shall be capable to store image and description of defect with location in separate files for each component of track i.e. Rails, Fastenings, Sleepers and Track features.
The images shall be in colour for user to browse through the continuous track on high resolution monitors.
The minimum resolution of the monitoring shall be 1280×720 pixels.
The camera shall be equipped with the LED lighting system to allow operation in various lighting conditions.
ALL THE SYSTEMS ARE CAPABLE OF MEASURING THE PARAMETERS AT 160 KM/H
